• Graduated Southern State College (Now Southern Arkansas University) in January 1963.
• Went to work for Day & Zimmermann, Inc. at the Lone Star Army Ammunition Plant in July 1963
• Married my wife (the former Frances Simpson) in November 1963.  She was too young and I was too dumb but over 40 years later we're still together.  Frances retired from teaching 7 years ago in June and I retired from D&Z 6 years ago in July.  We have two sons, 3 grandsons and one grandaughter.  There will be no more.
