The day after graduation from good ole AHS I joined the US Army where I served for 20 years.
The last 10 years of service was spent in Military Intelligence, and I retired as a Chief Warrant Officer.
I spent four overseas tours with the US Army, Japan, Okinawa, Korea and Vietnam. In 1978, I retired from the Army, we returned to Ashdown, built our house, and I worked for Little River County for 20 years as an appraiser and retired again in 1999.
I have a workshop next to our house where I spend a lot of time working on projects, helping neighbors and friends with things that need to be repaired. My shop is also for entertaining friends, who drop by daily for a visit, and we also host shop parties, fish fries and get togethers.
Barbara and I both have our own 4 wheelers and we live near a large farm/forest (over 2000 acres) which we have access to and ride there quite often. I also enjoy crossword puzzles, movies and whatever else Barbara said in her bio.
I am looking forward to seeing each of you at the reunion.
