After leaving Ashdown, I married Charlotte Jo on June 21, 1962.  We moved to Little Rock in October 1962 where I attended Eaton Barber College.  I worked as a barber in Nashville and Ashdown for ten years.  In 1973, I began work at Nekoosa Paper in Ashdown which later became Georgia Pacific.  My wife and I bought and restored the old school property in Langley, Arkansas.  On July 3, 1986, we opened a six bedroom bed and breakfast called the Country School Inn B &B.  I continued to commute until my retirement on July 5,1995.  On June 6, 1996 we lost our bed and breakfast to a fire.

Charlotte and I had two sons, Danny who lives in Key West, Florida and is 43 years old.  Rodney, our youngest, would be 39 years old.  We lost him in an accident on December 18, 1996.

We still make our home in Langley, retired and enjoy every minute of it.
