To my classmates of 1958,

I left for the big city of Dallas the day after graduation, married Bill Cox from Merit in 1962 and we settled in Carrollton where we lived for the next 36 years. Our son Billy Jr., was born in 1969. He graduated from R.L. Turner High in 1987 on the High Honor Roll and attended college at Waco. In 1990 he sustained a severe head injury and was hospitalized for 2 years. Although he has recovered, he will always be dependent on me and will probally live with me for the rest of my life.

The last 20 years of my employment was with Computer Language Research in Carrollton. Bill died suddenly in 1998 and life closed in on me. My brother urged me to come to Texarkana to be near him and his wife Sandy. We bought property in Red Lick and in October 2000 we became next door neighbors.

Although I might have to seek employment someday, I am enjoying my retirement and have not once got out of bed and wished I was getting ready to go to work.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone.
