I worked my way through college.  Two years at Southern State, Magnolia and received a B.S. in electrical engineering from Lousiana Tech in 1963, the only female.  I worked three years at Lone Star Armt Ammunition plant and five years at Red River Army Depot, again the lone female.  Fortunately, more women are now in so-called men's fields.  I earned my professional electrical engineering license in Texas.  In 1972 I had to retire on disability.

I married while at Magnolia nd divorced in 1975.  Jeff was born in 1968, and is retired; Jodi(1973) is a physical therapist.  Jeff has two sons, Will(13) and Corbin(5).  Jodi and Danny Creech have two, Dillon(4) and Dalton(1) and own Central Monumant and Casket in Keithville, La. and Texarkana.

In 1972 I was told by a specialist in a world renowned hospital that I could not live more than ten years.  Guess I showed him!! Seriously, I have been blessed.  I was able to attend many of Jodi's sports competitions locally, nationally and olympic trials.  Wish I could have gone to the Goodwill Games in Europe.  Jeff is an avid hunter and fisherman and has let me tag along.

p.s.  I'm amused by the dress code details for our reunion.  A dress code was not mentioned in info for AHS Alumni dinner (for all years) to be held in September.  Guess if any of us 67-68 year olds want to wear bikinis we'll have to do so then.
