Bio:  I went to work at Ashdown Power and Light in 1960.  Married John Ahonen in 1963, moved to DeQueen and purchased a home.  We had three daughters two years apart.  We moved with John's job as an engineer until Dana (our oldest daughter) started to school.  We then settled in West Palm Beach, Fl.  John passed away in 1987.  I met Fred Whipple in 1988 and moved to Deland, FL.  Fred is an auctioneer and he had a furniture store which I ran until he had his third heart attack.  We now have an auction, which I help with and also do a lot of babysitting for my grandchildren.
