After graduation from AHS, I completed 2 years at TJC and then went to the University of Arkansas to finish my degree.  After six months at the naval Air Station outside of Memphis, I got married, worked for Sears, and then moved to Dallas to work for Texaco.  During this time, my wife Linda and I had two sons James and Jeffrey.

I spent a few years with companies that provided computer accessories and supplies before starting my own company, Records Management Systems.  That was a scary but ultimately very rewarding experience.

I left Dallas in 2000 and spent a great deal of my time taking care of my parents in Asdown and working for a Little Rock company selling the same type of products as my own company had.  Once my parents moved into a nursing home I moved to Fayetteville and have now put down permanent roots.  I had considered life in Dallas, but an August afternoon on Central Expressway was enough to convince me otherwise, or possibly life on my boat at Lake Ouachita.  Fayetteville won out over both places and I just completed my "cabin in the woods"  which turned out to be much more than a cabin and enough to keep me busy forever.

I'm on my own now, but I've been lucky enough to have good parents, two wonderful sons, a caring brother and fantastic friends.  James, who is a Senior IS Analyst in Dallas has no children but he has given me two granddogs.

Life just doesn't get any better than this!
