U.S. Navy submarine after high school for four years.  Helped construct Millwood Dam in the 60s.  Maintenance mechanic at Ashdown Paper Mill for 35 years.  Retired in 2003.
Married to Jane Meeker for 40 years on Valentines Day 2009.
